LUCKNOW: A few produced fake and forged experience certificates of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab to land a job in state homeopathic medical colleges. A probe conducted by medical officer Jayram Ray has found these allegations to be true.In a report submitted to the state government, the medical officer pointed out that the Mangala Kamla Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital of Siwan (Bihar) stated that the teaching experience certificates presented by two doctors were fake.
College principal Moti Chand Choudhary said that he had never issued certificates in favour of the person in question. "In fact I was surprised and shocked when I saw the two certificates purported to be issued by me and decided to lodge FIR against two persons," the principal told the medical officer through a letter.
Against an advertisement issued by the Public service commission of Uttar Pradesh for the appointment of lecturers, for which a minimum of three year's experience, was required, some applicants presented fake certificates. Some of the applicants who produced fake certificates were appointed in Faizabad and Lucknow homeopathic college, said the report. There were reports that some of the applicants procured fake certificates from colleges of Madhya Pradesh and Punjab as well. In all appointments were made for 25 posts of lecturers in various homeopathic colleges of the state in different subjects in the last three years. Another official AK Mishra went to Punjab to investigate into the allegation of forged certificates. He found that one appointee procured forged certificate from Punjab. On the basis of complaints, secretary KL Meena assigned the inquiry to Jayram Ray. Ray has also suggested that all appointments be annulled till the inquiry was completed.In the meantime, the investigating officer has asked the government to ask MP government to look into complaints of distribution of fake experience certificates by the homeopathic colleges from the state.
